Sara Juliano, RDH
Dental Educator, Blogger & Podcast Host. Research Advocate For Oral & Systemic Health
To my reader,
Hello beautiful, lovely people. My name is Sara Juliano. I have been a registered dental hygienist for over a decade and loving every minute of it! Most of all, what I love is helping people expand their knowledge and understanding on their oral and systemic health. This gives patients the tools and awareness they need when they leave the dental office to improve their oral health and overall quality of life. There is no greater feeling than knowing I am impacting the lives of others both on an educational and emotional level.
I was a stay-at-home mother for most of my children’s childhood and early teenage years. My oldest son, Noah is 22 years old and has started a very successful framing business while living his best life and doing what he loves the most. My youngest son, Lucas, is 20 years old. He is navigating through life finding what inspires him the most to fulfill his purpose in life. I couldn’t be prouder of my two amazing, beautiful boys.
As the boys grew older and needing their momma less and less, I went on a path of self-discovery to find out what exactly it was that inspired me to live my best life, outside of motherhood. Well, at the age of 43 years old, I have finally found my purpose in life as I have navigated along my path trying to find it. I have concluded; my soul’s purpose is serving others both professionally and in all my personal relationships as well.
Running, meditating, hiking and being in nature are my first loves. I love to feel healthy both physically and mentally so I can bring positivity to everyone who crosses my path in life. I love surrounding myself with positive lovely people. Most of all I love helping people become the best versions of themselves.
Over the course of the last few years, my life has changed dramatically. I always knew I loved my line of work, but I wanted to share it with the world, not just in a dental office. So, I took a giant step back from my fast-paced lifestyle, slowed down, and focused on Sara for the first time. By slowing down and taking time for myself, I realized, helping people was my passion in life, and that was where I decided to put my focus and energy.
I made a conscious decision to generate deeper connections to reach others in a positive, compassionate way. I expanded my knowledge and understanding by receiving a Life-coaching certification in October 2020. This broadened my desire to help others not only in the dental office but also outside of general dentistry and branch out publicly. I took a leap of faith and decided to get more involved in oral education and systemic research. I now have begun an exciting new career in oral and systemic healthcare and my main goal and purpose is to bridge the gap between the two and help those suffering from systemic and oral health diseases improve their emotional, physical, and oral health so they can live vital, happy, healthy lives. What greater reward is there than that?
I am so excited to be in this position, and haven been given this opportunity to educate, research, blog, and podcast. I intend to make a difference in the lives of others, and I am so excited to begin this journey.
